Girls in Business Camp
The Girls in Business Camp introduces girls, ages 8 to 17, to basic business principles including the forms and types of businesses, business strategy, marketing and finance. Each student will be guided through creating her own business and completing the following activities
- Develop a business concept
- Name her business
- Create a logo
- Design a business card
- Create a marketing plan
- Create a finance plan including an estimate of business start-up costs
- Create a pitch deck
- Present the pitch to fellow participants serving as investors
The Girls in Business Camp is hosted twice per year in the largest cities in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United
States. All instruction is in English. The camp fee includes all materials, a GIB logo shirt and treat bag.
Business 101 for Girls Webinar
Business 101 for Girls Webinar introduces girls, ages 9 to 17, to basic business principles including the forms and types of businesses, business strategy, marketing, and finance. Students are guided through workbook activities to create a business from conception to launch. After developing their business pitch, girls will participate in a second webinar to present their business to fellow participants who will form a panel of mock investors. This class is covered in two webinar sessions.
Business 101 for Girls webinar are open to all girl with no regard to location. All instruction is in English.

Empower Her Inner CEO
The Girls in Business Initiative (GIB) was launched in 2020. The company is a for-profit company and is self-funded. Our instructors are women with extensive experience as entrepreneurs, business executives and/or certified teachers. All instructors and staff undergo annual background screenings. All instructors and staff are duly registered in accordance with any requirements mandated by law in the markets in which the Girls in Business Initiative operates. We do not offer volunteer opportunities or book speakers.
